Picky eater?

I often complain about how picky my children are.  Every meal is served a la carte in our house, because there's just not one thing that everyone agrees on!  But, as picky as they are, sometimes they surprise me.

Take Kara, for instance.  She won't eat grilled cheese or macaroni, but she loves salad!  One afternoon I was making myself a salad for lunch with spinach, chicken, pears, walnuts, feta cheese and balsamic vinagrette.  She pulled up a stool, and asked if she could have a bite.

And then another, and then another.  Before I knew it, there we were sharing a salad on the counter top with a side of grapes.  That's my girl!
