Last year Kara's preschool (which is now Jack's preschool) decided that instead of having a class Christmas party on the last day of school in December, they would instead focus on the real Christmas story and Jesus' birth.
Not wanting to be grinchy, they decided to hold a "Pizza With Santa" night for all families to attend a bit earlier in December. We went last year with Kara, and now this year it was Jack's turn to invite the family.
There were crafts ...
... games, like "Pin the nose on Santa" ...
... a sing-along with the big guy himself ...
... a pizza dinner with ice cream snowmen for dessert ...
... and last, but most importantly, a visit with Santa ...
This was the year I was waiting for. All 3 kids went up to see Santa, and none of them cried! They all told Santa what they wanted, and posed for a picture with smiles on their faces. Truly a Christmas miracle!
