Itinerary

I know that Santa must spend days, perhaps weeks, mapping out his route across the world in order to make sure he's able to deliver toys to all little girls and boys on Christmas Eve night.

I don't know how he does it!  We've spent the better part of the last 2 weeks trying to map out our Christmas itinerary, and so far it looks like this:

December 23:  Family Christmas, a.k.a. Christmas Adam (because Adam comes before Eve, you know) -- our house in Bloomington, IL .... drive the kids up to Dwight, IL to meet grandma and grandpa for lunch, exchange cars and give them kids .... back to Bloomington, IL for mom and dad so that mom can work

December 24:  Christmas Eve; kids wake up and Grandma and Pa's while mommy works.  Once off work, head up to Mokena, IL for Christmas Eve with mommy's extended family where the kids and Grandma and Pa will meet us; afterwards, head back to Oak Lawn, IL to spend Christmas Eve night at Grandma and Pa's house

December 25:  Christmas morning; wake up at grandma and pa's and exchange gifts with them; wait for Uncle Dan and Aunt Ann to arrive to open gifts with them and have breakfast; mass at St. Linus; load up the car and head to Orland Park, IL to spend the rest of Christmas Day with daddy's side of family; spend night at Grandma Muehleck's

December 26:  Head back to Bloomington, IL to open the gifts that Santa left under the tree and so mommy can go to work

December 27:  Back to Orland Park, IL to celebrate Grandma Muehleck's birthday

December 28:  Mommy will go to Downers Grove, IL to be with Pa as he has yet another vocal cord procedure while kids stay w/ daddy and Grandma M in Orland Park; return to Orland and spend the night

December 29:  Back to Bloomington, IL; last trip for mommy and the kids for a while!

December 30:  Daddy heads back to Orland Park, IL to pick up Grandma so that he and she can attend Aunt Beth and Rich's wedding ceremony at the DuPage courthouse; drive back to Bloomington, IL with Grandma Muehleck following behind to spend the New Year with us.

Phew.

All I know is that the next few days will include a lot of this:
