alternately titled: What The Hail?!
Today was the first very real sign of what lies ahead for us Midwesterners. A mixed bag of weather is often found in November; anything from beautiful, sunny 70-degree days, to a blizzard.
Today was neither extreme, but it was a scary reminder of the things to come. Every year at this time, I often wonder why we live here? Why the Midwest? I know why I'm here ... because this is where my family is ... where I was born and raised. But why, oh why, didn't one of my ancestors have the foresight to move our kin far, far away from here?
