Wiggly, Jiggly Tooth

About 3 weeks ago at a dental check-up our hygienist noticed that Kara had two "loose" teeth.  I say "loose" because the movement was barely visible to the naked eye, but Kara was beyond thrilled.  You see, she had endured her entire kindergarten year WITHOUT losing a tooth like "every other kid" had. 

With the news that her tooth was loose, it should surprise no one to hear that Kara worked it.  And I mean WORKED it.  She wiggled and jiggled that tooth as often as she could to get that sucker to loosen up.

Mind you when Jenna has a loose tooth, she leaves it dangling there forever and about faints when touching it.  And forget about seeing blood on a tissue!

But Kara?  Not at all concerned.  Mark always joked that when Kara's teeth were loose she would yank them out herself.  He was right.

Tonight at dinner Kara was fed up with the way that wiggly jiggly tooth was hindering her ability to bite food.  She went into the bathroom and WORKED that tooth for a good 15 minutes.

Alas, the tooth remained.  But not due to lack of effort, that's for sure!
